It was a good year after all! 2024 Recap | Jamie Meier | Live Love Lens Photography

Wow, a lot happens in a year. It’s easy to forget just how much goes down in 365 days.

First, I am incredibly grateful for all that I am able to try/learn/love/explore/dislike/taste/ stress about/grow from, and get excited about each day.

This, alone, is a privilege .

I’m excited to share some personal and business updates, and what’s in store for 2025 (including an exciting adventure later this month!!).

Thanks in advance for reading!

Cheers to a fulfilling and calm 2025,

Jamie

2024 was pretty great now that I think about (funny how that happens).

Some personal highlights:

Hell’s Kitchen

There was the Broadway standout of Hells Kitchen - sobbed and smiled more than I have in a long time. Unbelievable cast and music. My crush on Alicia Keys has only deepened.

Ellen

Seeing Ellen DeGeneres on stage was pretty fantastic. It was less like a comedy show and more like a vulnerable spoken word performance. She was so honest and real.

Cycle For Survival

Rode in my 7th Cycle For Survival and raised a bunch of $$ for Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Damn I wish we didn’t have to do this.

Red Rocks

Finally got to THE iconic Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado to see the amazing Avett Brothers. My favorite album as a teenager was DMB Live at Red Rocks - something about that made this experience more profound. And the gagillion steps you need to climb to your seats. Very moving. Seriously this place is magical!

Traveled to Puerto Rico, Cape May and Vermont with the fam- love these trips more than anything.

Colorado

An amazing summer trip with David to Boulder and Breckenridge! The scenery and the sunshine was just what we needed.

Movement = Joy

Skied, hiked, walked, danced (and now have a dance-related knee injury - boo) and love me some pilates.

Harley

Snuggled my Harley girl more hours than I can possibly count.

15!

Celebrated Jade’s 15th birthday the day she returned from an epic camp adventure to Portugal and Spain (can I be her??).

12!

Celebrated Levi’s 12th bday with his awesome buddies, a few weeks after starting middle school, and cheered him on in just a few baseball, football, and basketball games.

Lots of quality family time in NJ, PA, and MD…
